A Grown Woman Comments: Hmm

It's Karma, baby! All those good things you've done and all the hard times you've had - this is payback!

Yay!

I love you. And you so deserve this financial upswing. I know you'd rather have your mom and dad, but you know that one day you'll be reunited with them and in the meanwhile they will be happy knowing you no longer have to worry about money.
Big hugs to you!!

Megan and Lora summed it up and left me with nothing to add except for Happy New Year!

Congrats on the good fortune. Sorry about the way it came to you though, but I'm glad to see you doing welll.
I almost said I hope someday this happens to me, cause working three jobs and not being able to give a signle christmas gift sucks, but I think it would be bad luck to say it. :P
Happy Holidays Pischy. :)

Lora said it best, I think. If parents could do anything for their children after they leave, I'm sure they would want to ease their lives and lift burdens they have been carrying for years. Enjoy the fruits of their labors... they would want you to. (And I'm sure it is no surprise to you that when we help with the community food drives, the greatest contributions come not from those who earn money easily, but instead from those who once were on the receiving end of those donations and are finally on solid footing.) Been a while since I stopped in. Sorry about your losses, but happy to see the world is otherwise treating you well.
