Sorry, I've been out sick for most of the week. Well, I've been working, but mostly I've been sick at the same time. Came home from Scott's house early this weekend. Have the day off tomorrow (Scott and I are supposed to be on vacation, oh well) and I'm going to concentrate on getting well. The good news is that I don't start school until Wednesday - I thought I started on Tuesday! So I have a couple days to finish recovering before the madness begins again. It's been a week already, damn cold.

Scott decided to go see "O" with me in Las Vegas at the end of March. We're just going to fly down, see the show at the Bellagio, stay at the Bellagio, and fly back the next day. If I can manage to stay IN the hotel and never have to leave it then I think I can manage to survive another trip to Las Vegas. I got a fantastic deal on Travelocity.com, so much so that it's worth going to LV just to see one show. Yay for reserving early on Travelocity! Yayy for weekday prices! Yay for short trips that don't cost much!

On the other hand, I am also happy that most of the rest of my money is now locked up with the Financial Advisor. I was well on my way to donating it all away. Not that I'm sorry I donated a penny, but if I keep hold of most of it from now on then I can continue giving away as the years go by. Yayyy for Mutual Funds and high interest rates. I guess I'll pick more things to donate to next year - and I'm glad I'll have that chance. It's pretty amazing to know that if I take care of this money and spend wisely then it won't ever run out.

I think about my mom and dad every time I spend a dime on donations or vacations with the kids. I think they are very happy to see us happy AND to see me take care of the money. If I am very careful I can turn this money into a whole lot of money before I retire - and in return leave it to the kids. On the other hand, I have no intention of saving ALL of it and never taking these trips until it's too late. My mom never made it to retirement. I am glad she and my dad did take some trips. In the few years before they died my mom was able to take a trip to Europe with her sisters, and two cruises to Alaska with my dad. Good for them. Having some sort of vacation every year was something they always made time and money for, and little weekend trips throughout the year.

I still miss her a lot, and finally realize the reality: I will always miss her and it will always hurt. You just get used to have this horrible ripped out hole in your heart. It doesn't hurt less and you don't forget about the pain - you just get used to it being there.

In case you all didn't notice, I updated the journal! Twice today! And now I go to bed to procrastinate packing for Vegas.

Do ya'll realize that when the first Big Brother was on, I had just started writing my journal? I used to write about it all the time. I think I deleted most of those entries - cuz they were stupid, haha - but it is funny to look back on it. It's about that time of year when I gotta write my anniversary entry.

Wow, a lot has changed since then, eh?

So today I:

Do not feel good.
Did not send out any of the lawyer paperwork I was supposed to.
Did meet the inspector.
Will meet the maid at 5:30pm.
Am really not feeling well.
Updated the journal.

I just took a look at my hit counter for the journal, and even though I know it's a really big number, I'm thinking the 11 billion hits it's showing now is probably wrong. That's hysterical. What happened to Honesty Counters??? 11 Billion hits? No chance.

I may be a college graduate but my pants seems to also have gotten a lot smaller.

I suppose I should now concentrate on that diet and exercise regimen that's been ignored for so long.

Woooooo, I updated the journal! Not really feeling the writing today, but I got some stuff out at least.

So today I buy a new car, and yesterday I got a lady in trouble.

Also, I updated the journal, if you feel like reading any more about THE iPOD. I know I'm sick of typing about it already, though I'm not sick of listening to it. So I just wrote one long entry, and hopefully we can just have small doses of it now.

Also? Nothing much else happened this weekend.

Oh, except I keep having dreams about Will. I need to call him I think. His birthday was just ten days ago. I'll get to that soon.

Okay I updated the journal but I don't have my Statistics grade yet - it will be posted some time this afternoon and I'll let you all know as soon as I know, okay? Okay.

Also, I owe some of you emails, you know who you are, and I'm not ignoring you I just need to take email time later.

I will say I'm sorry if anyone out there is offended by what I write, but I have to say I can't imagine WHY someone would be offended by ME. So... Whatever.

Wednesday is Buffy's birthday, (and Itsy's too!) but my car just broke down and instead of spending the day going to movies and shopping, we will be sitting at home playing video games. I am incredibly sad and upset and mad that I never have a car that works.

Update again!

I have been happily running on my elliptical machine the last few days, and also got armloads of eBay packages off in the mail. Other than that, boring.

Until this morning.

As usual, Buffy will not be outdone in funniness. She had me rolling on the floor I was laughing so hard, as were all three of us.

I love my son.
And I would like to say that as soon as I finished writing about how my son makes me laugh, and how much I love him, he then smacked his sister and made her cry, then said she hit him first, she admitted this was true, and then I sent them both to bed.

But they're both way funny, and of course I love them to pieces.
