More things to keep in mind...
So I can't pump my own gas in Oregon AND they have lower speed limits - that's going to be a bummer, heh. Thank goodness for cruise control that allows you to forget how fast you're going (or not going).
And Washington is hands-free cell phone while driving - which is just like it is in California too. I already have my hands-free thingie, but I don't plan on needing it while driving then anway.
Anyone else knows any laws I need to know, please post it here!

Hee! Not having to pump your own gas is a PLUS! They do it for you - for the same price we pay for pumping our own here. And don't worry - they won't arrest you if you try to do it yourself. They will just know you are a tourist in Oregon for the first time.
Relax and enjoy having some pimply faced kid put the gas in for you!
No more (critical) laws that I can think of...but a piece of advice: bring a sweater. Seattle is incredibly beautiful, but I don't think anyone who lives anywhere else in the nation would say it ever gets *hot* there--even in the middle of summer, heh. Passing warm, at best, at the peak of the day, not factoring in any wind that might be blowing in from the sound. Mornings and evenings might just freeze your southern toes off! And maybe an umbrella or rain hat, too, unless you don't mind the occasional wetting...
