Your excellent academic record has earned you recognition as a Dean's Scholar in the College of Humanities and the Arts. All of the Dean's Scholars and President's scholars will be formally awarded at the 46th Annual Honors Convocation on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 6:00 PM in the Event Center. An invitation will be sent to your mailing address in the coming weeks, please let us know if you do not receive your invitation by the end of March. We encourage you to invite family, friends, and your favorite instructors to the ceremony and reception that follows. Cynthia - you totally define what it is to rock. What an accomplishment ... and one of the most amazing parts about it is that you had no expectations, no scheming, no swell-headedness ... nope, you were just working hard and feeding your brain the whole way there. And being a great mom. And working at a paying job. And even keeping up a really captivating journal. Congratulations on the well-deserved recognition you have received. Kudos to you!
