Poor Pischina-Kitty, her life really is a living hell for her right now. She can't really eat with the cone on so I take it off of her twice a day and she gulps down as much food and water as she can. She doesn't seem to mind her medicine drops, so she's much better in that department than Phoebe-kitty is. But the cone is driving her insane. I mean, I think she may really be insane by the end of the two weeks. To her little walnut brain, it's like there are invisible walls all over her world that she keeps bumping into. She keeps putting her head low to the ground as she walks, I think to try to go under the invisible walls she keeps hitting, but then the cone just hits the carpet or ground, which makes her feel like her world is even smaller. Talk about claustrophobia! Poor kitty...

But the worst part is that no one has any sympathy for her. Phoebe-kitty is so fluffy and lovable, when she was sick everyone was worried about her and gave her lots of love. Pischina-kitty is as cranky and antisocial as her owner (me) so seeing her trying to deal with kitty-life while wearing a cone around her neck just makes everyone laugh. Or as Buffy put it: "That's what you get."

Poor kitty.

But still. She IS hilarious.
