My choke pills
At the grocery store I picked up some Trimspa. I feel like such a sell-out. But I'm going to try it. The side effects sound better than that stupid Alli stuff (crapping your pants) (No, I never tried Alli). I just have to make sure I drink lots of water so the pill doesn't expand in my esophagus. Heh. I can drink water though. Also, it says it may cause "feelings of anxiety" which most people will tell you I don't need any extra of.
But regardless, I'm trying it. I can't figure out what else to do. The gym doesn't seem to be helping. I feel the cardio effects, and I feel stronger, but the weight is not going down. It's like my metabolism just stopped three years ago. The pounds just keep piling on. I don't eat a lot and I don't eat many bad foods. There are certainly ways to cut down, but not really enough to make much of a difference. So I'm going to take that extra step and just try some Trimspa.
It's certainly better than crapping my pants, that's for sure.

I've used TrimSpa before. Watch your coffee drinking, because that stuff will make you feel juiced up. I never had much luck with it mostly because I would forget to take it 30 minutes before my meals. It did help lower my blood sugar though!
The best thing I've used for weight loss is Weight Watchers. They have a very nice online program that allows you to track your food and points and weight and even exercise.
No-o-o-o --- no to the Trimspa! ! ! You'll end up like Anna Nicole! ... well, probably no one who isn't a cartoon character could end up like she did, but I think you're wasting your money on that stuff. Come over and hike with us on a weekend - Fall Creek is amazingly beautiful - so lovely you hardly notice that the hill trails are killing you. Seriously - I think it's getting out and moving every day that is the only thing that works.
Except that I *am* getting out every day. Every day either swimming for an hour or working out for 2 hours. And nothing. I feel stronger and I feel the cario improving, but no weight loss. I doubt the trimspa will work because I don't overeat at all anyway, I'm just trying it out - because I don't know what else to do! I eat right and exercise every day - but keep gaining weight. Something has to be WRONG.
How about your clothes? Are they fitting differently? Just asking because sometimes when you get started on a good exercise regimen, you build up muscle, which weighs more than fat, but takes up less room. Maybe that's what's happening - why you aren't seeing the scales move.
