Back from Aptos
It was a good weekend. The wedding was super fun! Although the bride and groom are BOTH super-duper-rich, the wedding was not over the top, it was a very nice wedding that could have been anyone's. I like that, weddings like that focus more on the couple getting married than the display of wealth and excess. It was beautiful. The bride was beautiful, but she's always beautiful. The groom looks more like his dad every day, and his dad is super handsome and was very proud and emotional. They are a good family. I was right at the edge of too-much-wine at the reception, but I did not cross the line, so there was much fun. Spent time with Scott's family and some old co-workers that I see every year at the Christmas party. There were three old female co-workers I was unpleasantly surprised to see, but I was able to get through all three encounters well (by completely ignoring one, having a nice conversation with another, and restraining myself from calling the third a "dumb ignorant bitch" [yes, I was proud of myself]). But I had a good time with the other co-workers and family, and of course with Scott. Pictures on Flickr, though not many and not clear - I promise to get a good camera for Mexico!
By the way - 28 more days!!!!

Just wanted to tell you I got a really cool digi camera that is easy to use, inexpensive, and takes great pictures. It's a Kodak EasyShare C663. It has a big screen on the back of it, so you can easily see what you're shooting. Saved $40. by getting it from Costco.com instead of in the actual Costco store. It was free shipping and I had it in 48 hours. My daughter got the same one for her trip to London and loved it.
Anyway, you might want to check it out.
