Phoebe Update
Phoebe is still taking babysteps to recovery, but if you met her today you'd never know something was ever wrong - except for the various shaved areas on her body. She's getting fatter, she is jumping higher and higher. She is eating a lot and is getting much fatter and is strong enough that it is a PAIN IN THE ARSE trying to get her medicine down her throat.
In fact, the only things I can think of that she isn't doing are jumping as high as the counters (she can get up on chairs with no problem though) and I haven't seen her climb the fence or a tree.
She did decide to go visiting for the first time today. She was gone for most of this afternoon. Came dawdling back around 7pm and promptly was swooped up and wrapped in the blanket for her dose of medicine. She promptly left again - she gets so pissed at us!!!
Whatever was wrong with her, stroke or whatever, I feel confident finally that she is better. The money I put in for her paid off, and so did the 24 hour care and worry.
Yay!
