Phoebe - Monday morning
She is doing fine this morning. She still shakes like she has Parkinson's. I tried to get her cortisone pill into her by coating it in butter per the vet's suggestion. A spoonful of butter later I gave up and crushed it into her food again while she licked all the grease off her mouth. So I locked her in my room for the morning with her bowl of medicine/food so Pischina-kitty doesn't eat it for her. My room is the coolest in the house and has a big slider. I opened it and put the screen across - hopefully she doesn't push it out again, but I don't think she can climb the fence. Anyway, she has a very nice big cool room to hang out in until I get home.

Hope Miss Phoebe stays on the upswing this time. You are a very good kitty owner to do all you do for her. They really are part of your family and when they're sick, all is just not right with the world. *thinking of you*
I'm surprised she wouldn't eat it in butter. Booie goes apeshit for butter and will jump up on the table and lick the stick, if not watched. But all cats have their preferences, I guess.
Oh, Phoebe will eat butter. She loves butter! She will eat the entire stick too, and she HAS eaten an entire sick (barf!). She even ate the butter ths morning, but the pill kept coming right out of her mouth.
