« The Vet has better hopes | Main | Phoebe = 10:30am »

Today Phoebe is a pain in my arse. She woke up at 3:30am and wanted out of her carrier so I had to sleep with my hand hanging over my bed and into her box. After a while she didn't care about my hand and kept trying to get out again so I had to just put the lid on and tell her "Good night, go to sleep".

This morning she is bright eyed and awake. She is finishing up her cat food right now. She also has no intention of staying in the box. The problem is that she still can't walk. So if I let her try she stumbles and falls and even actually flips herself upside down. It's like walking on four legs where one leg is numb, one is a wooden stilt that is too long, one has a spring in it, and the other wants to run. I mean - it's quite a sight.

We leave for the vet in a few minutes. I have a lot of questions. Like what do we do if she stays awake and well-looking like this but can't ever walk right. Or what if she gets all the way better over the weekend and then gets sick AGAIN. So... we'll see. I guess she is walking better than a few days ago, even when she was on my lap last night she couldn't walk at all, so I guess she's improving. You wouldn't know it if you saw her though, hahah.

So as of 8am: Seems to be well and strong and awake, just has little control over her legs.
