Phoebe = 10:30am
Okay, vet still convinced she had a stroke or something in her brain, and she's going to continue with her cortisone, but in pill form now. She said all we can do is hope she continues to get better, but that she is really encouraged by what she saw today. Phoebe got the IV taken out of her arm and sent home with her pills and more cat food cans. I took her to the pet store where we bought a giant dog kennel. And a little litter box and food dishes and a toy mouse. The kennel even has a lambs wool floor. She is going to live in this kennel until she can walk again, because I can't keep track of where she falls and I have work to do. But now, at least I can go to the office to get work done!!! She can stay in that house for four hours a day by herself. She has been using the litter box a lot, and eating a lot of food - the vet said let her eat as much as she wants. She gained 3 ounces since yesterday, which means she weighs a whopping 4 pounds 8 ounces. (Pischina-kitty probably weighs about 20 pounds now). I have decided to go to Aptos afterall, but I won't leave until tomorrow morning, in case Phoebe gets worse. But if she's better, she'll get packed up with me along with her house, and off we'll go. She can sit in her house in Aptos with me. Update: She put a nice poop in the litter box and I was going to get it out, but I decided to type all that up first. Meanwhile she decided to take a nap in the litter box, getting the soft poop all over her long hair, and then walked out onto the lambs wool. I just finished cleaning up a very bad mess. Finally there's something! I was really sad to hear how much weight she lost, because I remember when you came to my house and you thought that Petey looked small in comparison to Phoebe and he weighs 11 pounds!
