Gah. I brought the X-rays to the new vet and they brought Phoebe in to see me. She looked MISERABLE. She looked like a patient in the hospital. I asked for some confirmation that she will at least be okay, like, can I just stop worrying about her for a couple hours while she's here? But they wouldn't give it to me. She may spend the night there. They haven't said she's incurable, they just don't know what the problem is.
