Phoebe - Saturday morning update
This morning she got up, I gave her her medicine, and she ate a bunch of food again, but I realized she has now not gone #2 since at least Thursday afternoon. After she ate I put her on the front grass, but she got up and walked back inside to lay down. That was the most she had moved in three days, combined. Ten minutes later I noticed she was sitting on the front porch, but she still looked terribly sick. Ten minutes later she was in the front yard under a bush, looking half sick, half like she was enjoying a nice Saturday morning outside. Ten minutes later she was gone. Dammit. I worried about her and looked for her for about 90 minutes, then I suddenly turned around and there she was, sitting in the hallway again. So that was good. She got up and walked to her empty dish, so I gave her some more wet food and called Scott. I told him I was probably going to make dinner with his parents tonight but would probably come home this evening or tomorrow morning. He was surprised, and said he knew how worried I was about her and how upset I would be if she got worse while I was gone. But I am fairly confident that she'll be fine until I come back. I don't feel confident enough to be gone for three days though. So... hopefully she is out of the woods. I don't know if she went to the bathroom when she was outside, that's the first time I didn't have track of her since Thursday. Hopefully she did, because she has been eating a LOT.
