HURRAAAAAAAAAHHHH
The Short Story - Done Then I'm DONNNNNNNNNNNE. Due to some extenuating circumstances I have been allowed to turn in my 8 page final paper for Writing Workshop in January. As for Spanish I have the luck of some Saint of Espanol, I swear. Every test I've been sure I earned a B or C, and every single test I've received an A. Writing Workshop I also have an A on everything. The Short Story suffered from my work on the probate estate, so there's a B there. And my history class was an upper division history class that was not designed for English Majors, haha. I have received a B on every goshdarn test and quiz, it drove me insane. But I participate every day, and its obvious I've read the books, so the professor kind of likes me a lot and said if I do well on the final essay then I should get an A. So here's hoping! Gosh, I know you've all missed these minutiae of my education! It's going to take a ten page entry in the journal to catch you all up on my life - but I'm not ready for that yet.

The Biggest Winner
It's finals time and I've been writing writing writing and researching and... procrastinating a whole lot. But it's all over Wednesday (well, all but one paper, but all classes will be over). But you know what finals time means... Blogging to avoid writing papers! So. The Biggest Loser TV show makes me cry, every time. How they lose so much weight in such a short period of time is beyond me - I didn't even know that was possible if you starved yourself. But it's inspiring. I know you're all way behind in my life, but school (classes) ends December 7. My last paper is due December 15. On December 7, right after class, I drive straight to my gym and sign up for a personal trainer. I will work out every day until school starts January 23. Then I have weight training - in School! - twice a week. I aim to have lost at least ten pounds by then. Then I'll have 40 pounds more to lose by the end of the semester. I can do it! I saw a horrendous photo of myself today. I was in the background behind the kids - and I thought I was my mother-in-law. I actually laughed... and then choked my laugh right back down my throat because that was NOT my mother-in-law. GULP. And oh yeah, in case you missed it... :-) ...Scott ordered my ring!

My ring - again
I went to the jewelry store to "visit" my ring again, and noticed that the design is indeed different than the one I showed you - although it is very similar. Mine has more of a tulip pattern. It turns out that my design has been discontinued but they are making one more especially for me. Like I said, I will take a picture when I get it. 4-6 weeks. YAYYY.

I think a simpler way to say it is it is mostly like this one, but with the antiqued background, and the outside bands of gold may be a little thicker. But overall, most like that picture - with an antiqued background... hahaha... I promise a picture when it arrives.

We interrupt this break in blogging and the intense studying for finals to report that my ring has been ordered! It's going to be a few years yet before I am ready to get married again (kids gone, school over, etc.) and this ring - in case you haven't been reading me for years - is just to show that we are married in our hearts. I can stop answering questions about why we're not married, why we live apart, why I don't want to get married yet... it will just be assumed that we are married, and like I said, in our own hearts we are. So, this is sort of what it looks like: CLICK HERE Only it is in yellow gold and has a thin gold band on either side of it like the pair at the right of this picture. So, a design (I think) like this, with the extra gold border like this and antiqued like this (the black background). So now you have absolutely no idea what it will look like, right? hahahaha. A picture of it on my FINGER. :-D
