Enjoying the peace while I can
Okay, nothing much going on here. Nice quiet weekend with Scott. Last week I watched a lot of DVDs (no school is nice, haha). Lost in Yonkers - I loved it In addition, I read and loved Secret Life of Bees, And the only TV we could use to watch our two little channels of TV has broken (it's over 15 years old). We have a TV that works for DVDs, but won't get any channels. I'm torn between buying a new TV and getting cable, or just cutting TV out altogether. We probably won't miss it - all we watched was Desperate Housewives and The Apprentice, and we can certainly live without them. The only problem is the kids are often asked to watch some show for their chool work. But I can send them to their dad's house for that, right? I think we're just going to go without TV.
