Almost that time
So I'm almost ready. My mom said "NO ONE WEARS BLACK! Except Spike." Spike refused to wear anything else, which anyway, is the only color he has in his closet. I don't know what Buffy will wear, but she said it isn't black. I went shopping for clothes today and bought a very crinkly Mizrahi white blouse, and some black pants that aren't quite capris, but aren't completely long either. Kind of just like high waters, heh. But Yeah, the pants are black. Mom will have to deal. I think this is the first funeral for the kids, well, Buffy attended Jason's (their godfather) with me, but Spike was at camp. We'll see how it goes. Growing up I never knew anyone who died except a friend from elementary school who was dead two years before I found out, and after that not until I was about 19 or 20 when my music teacher died. Other than that... I had a childhood friend die of leukemia when we were in our 20's, and my mother-in-law's parents died a few years ago. Other than that I've been lucky. My kids have lost their godfather, three great-grandparents, countless pets and now their grandfather. Anyway, we'll be at the Methodist church on Winchester and Hamilton at 4pm.
