"Oooh," says Buffy, "We have potatoes! Can you make french fries?"
Me: (sweating next to the air conditioner) "NO! I am not making french fries from scratch!"
Buffy: "Ohh, but it's so easy, you just cut the potatoes in pieces and put them in a big pot of oil..."
It's 90 degrees in this house, and she wants to deep fry potatoes???
